Doug Rozendaal – CAF P-51C Mustang “Red Tail”
The P-51 Mustang is an American fighter that was used heavily in World War II, the Korean War and other global conflicts. It played an integral part in the Allied success in the second world war, entering at the midpoint and helping turn the tide.
The P-51C Mustang “Red Tail” that will be flying at the Branson Wings of Pride Air Show is part of the Red Tail Squadron of the Commemorative Air Force. CAF Red Tail Squadron is dedicated to bringing the history and legacy of the Tuskegee Airmen to life.
The aircraft will be flown by Doug Rozendaal, who has a storied history in the aviation industry. He has accumulated more than 10,000 hours flying over 170 aircraft, and has made truly remarkable strides in sharing aviation history with fans of all ages throughout decades of work with many organizations.
